Healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone. While I have advanced training in helping people recover from trauma, you don’t need to identify as a trauma survivor to work with me. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for adults navigating a wide range of challenges, whether you’re processing the impact of difficult experiences, working through anxiety or depression, or simply wanting to feel more grounded and connected in your life. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
I specialize in supporting adults who are:
Living with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or complex PTSD (C-PTSD)
Experiencing dissociation, depersonalization, or derealization
Recovering from chronic abuse, neglect, or relationship harm
Navigating attachment wounds and patterns that affect their relationships
Coping with symptoms that may not have an obvious cause, like panic, emotional numbing, or sudden overwhelm
Looking for personal growth, emotional clarity, or deeper self-understanding, even if they don’t think of their experiences as “trauma”
Recovering from spiritual abuse
Together, we can address:
Understanding and calming your body’s stress or trauma responses
Understanding your symptoms and their roots in your past
Reducing flashbacks, nightmares, and intrusive memories
Navigating intense emotions and learning regulation tools
Healing relational wounds and building safer, more satisfying connections
Increasing a sense of self-trust and stability in daily life
My work is grounded in a client-centered, relational approach, meaning our work together is guided by your goals, your pace, and a strong sense of safety in the therapeutic relationship.
I now primarily use Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), a gentle, neuroscience-based somatic (body-based) approach that works with the brain’s natural processing to heal the origins of distress.
While DBR is often my main method, it is not a requirement. I also draw heavily from Ego State Therapy, often called “parts work” outside of clinical settings (Internal Family Systems, or IFS, is one example of this), which helps identify and work with different aspects of yourself that may have formed in response to life experiences. My background also includes extensive use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which can be effective for certain concerns.
These approaches can be adapted to what feels safest and most effective for you. A common misconception is that healing requires telling your whole story in detail or even being able to remember what happened. While you are always welcome to share your experiences, we can also work effectively without going into overwhelming narrative detail, focusing instead on the underlying patterns, sensations, and emotions that are keeping you stuck.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and typically scheduled weekly or biweekly. We’ll begin by identifying your goals and creating a plan that feels safe and manageable. You set the pace, and we move forward when you feel ready, with regular check-ins to track progress and adjust as needed.
Clients often notice:
Greater emotional stability and fewer triggers
Reduced intensity or frequency of distressing symptoms
Improved ability to connect with and trust others
Increased self-awareness and self-compassion
More confidence in navigating daily challenges
